The Great-O-Khan & Jeff Cobb captured the IWGP Tag Team Championships at NJPW Hyper Battle, defeating Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI.
The finish saw Goto wiped out with the Imperial Drop followed by Cobb hitting Tour of the Islands on HASHI for the victory.

This marks the first reign as IWGP Tag Team Champions for Cobb & O-Khan both as a team and as individuals. Goto & HASHI won the titles at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 and made one successful title defense.
