Last year there we plans of opening a Los Angeles office in 2017 and a dojo this year. They have gone with the latter, but still have yet to open an office in the LA area. New Japan did have a dojo back in the mid 2000s in Santa Monica, but that was an Antonio Inoki project that also brought in MMA fighters. It later became situated with the NWA and faded away by 2007.

This all comes as New Japan is set to return ot the United States on March 26. Tickets to Strong Style Evolved have already sold out despite zero matches being announced for the show. It will air live on AXS TV and on New Japan World for international viewers.
