Damian Priest is the new NXT North American Champion.
Priest survived Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, Johnny Gargano, and Velveteen Dream to capture the vacant title in a ladder match at TakerOver XXX. The finish saw Priest and Gargano battling for the belt at the top of the ladder with the title becoming unhooked. Priest was able to kick Gargano off the ladder, leaving him as the lone man at the top to secure the title.
