Trevor Lee reclaimed X-Division gold as part of Open Fight Night in Impact Wrestling las night.
Lee defeated DJ Z in a ladder match to win the championship for the second time. DJ Z had bxeen X-Division Champ since the September 1st episode. Lee first became champion almost exactly one year ago, defeating Trigre Uno,
Here is what happened at the finish of the match, lifted from Ryan Cook's live coverage:
Gregory Shane Helms distracts Z and Lee hits him with a Superman punch then goes back up the ladder. Z pulls him down then Lee goes back on the leg of Z. They then exchange right hands on the ladder before Z hits a ZDT off the ladder. DJ then climbs the ladder again, but GSH gives Lee a ladder, Lee hitting the injured ankle of Z and sending him to the mat. Lee then traps Z under the ladder and grabs the title for the win.
