Chris Jericho is now a two-time United States Champion, and a member of the Smackdown roster.
The legendary wrestler captured the title at WWE Payback, defeating former tag team partner and best friend Kevin Owens. Jericho was given a re-match after losing the championship at WrestleMania 33.
Jericho also becomes a member of the WWE Smackdown roster, as they had acquired the United States Championship as a part of the WWE Superstar Shakeup.
After speculation on Twitter. Fightful has learned Jericho will defend the championship this Tuesday on Smackdown, before heading off to tour with Fozzy.
