New World Order To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2020

Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman are going to be two-time WWE Hall of Famers as it's been announced the New World Order will headline the Hall of Fame class of 2020.

The news was first reported by Marc Raimondi of ESPN.

Hogan, Hall and Nash formed the NWO at WCW Bash at the Beach 96 in one of the most iconic moments in wrestling history. Waltman would later join the group as Syxx. The Big Show and Ted DiBiase were also part of the original six members, but won't be inducted with the group. The stable would continue to add members before splitting into two groups in 1998 and undergoing various reboots until WCW closed in 2001. Hogan, Hall, and Nash would later re-form the NWO in WWE in 2002.

"You've got four guys that were basically going at Vince as a shoot, pushing hard to actually try to take over," Hogan told ESPN. "Not put him out of business but basically take his spot and be the No. 1 company. All of a sudden, you're inducting four guys in the Hall of Fame that 20 years ago were trying to stab you in the back. It's like Vince says: In the WWE, never say never."

All four men are already in the WWE Hall of Fame. Hogan (2005), Hall (2014 as Razor Ramon) and Nash (2015) were individually inducted in years past while Waltman went in as part of D-Generation X in 2019.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled for Apr. 2 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The ceremony is part of the WrestleMania 36 weekend festivities.
