Two champions meet backstage.
NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez appeared in the crowd on the August 16th episode of WWE SmackDown. During the show, she didn't interact with any members of the roster. However, WWE has shared a clip in which she met one of her fellow champions.
In a post on Twitter/X, WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax met Perez backstage. Jax did not say anything, but she nodded at Perez. Perez nodded back and smiled before Jax walked away.

Jax has aligned with former NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton on WWE SmackDown. Stratton currently holds the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase. Stratton held a championship celebration for Jax on the August 16th episode of WWE SmackDown, and Michin crashed it.
