Nia Jax is back.
In the main event of the September 11 episode of WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley defended the WWE Women's World Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. The bout marked a rematch of their clash at WWE Payback, but Dominik Mysterio was banned from ringside this time. The two foes battled it out in a hard-hitting match. Rodriguez more than held her own with the powerhouse, and she seemingly had the champion on the ropes.
But in the end, Nia Jax made her return and attacked Rodriguez. Her interference helped Ripley score the win.

After the match, Jax attacked Ripley and left the champion lying. In doing so, she made quite a statement upon her return.
WWE released Jax, a former Raw Women's Champion and WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, in November 2021. She made a one-off return in the 2023 Women's Royal Rumble match. She hadn't wrestled since her WWE release otherwise, though she had been booked for one independent date that did not come to fruition.
Fightful Select reported more information about Jax's return.
