Nick Gage is not a fan of Rickey Shane Page.
Gage and Page have been battling since 2018 when Page won a House of Horrors deathmatch at IWA Mid-South Guardians Of Hardcore.
Page was also the man who held the GCW World Title during Gage's absence due to injury, defeating AJ Gray for the belt immediately after Gray had defeated Gage at GCW Long. Live. GCW in 2019. Gage would regain the belt at GCW rSpring Break in April by defeating Page.
Speaking to Ron Funches on Gettin' Better about Page, Gage said, "Rickey Shane Page is a pussy. They sit in the locker room like a fucking weirdo, him and his boys. Just a straight pussy. He doesn't talk to nobody or nothing. I wanted to fucking kill him that night. I tried to carve MDK in his back for real. There was so much blood there and you guys couldn't see it. I wanted to carve that shit into him. That was a tough match, but there was no way I was losing to that guy."
After recapturing the GCW World Title, Gage was confronted by Jon Moxley, kicking off a new feud for the king of deathmatches.
