Arguably the biggest match in GCW history is official.
GCW announced that Nick Gage will defend the GCW World Championship against Matt Cardona at GCW Homecoming Night One on July 24.
The announcement came shortly after video was posted of Gage crashing Cardona's Major Pod Network show. You can view footage of Gage trying to get at Cardona, via Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, in the video below.
The rivalry between the two goes back to some ill-advised tweets made by Cardona and Gage, in no mood to play, wanting to fight him. Cardona attacked Gage at GCW Zombie Walk, issuing the challenge for Gage to fight him at Homecoming in a backstage promo after the attack.
