Nick Jackson will challenge Rey Fenix for the AEW International Championship on October 4.
Jackson was able to secure a shot at Fenix and the International title on the September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, as he defeated Brian Cage and Claudio Castagnoli in a three way eliminator match.
To win the bout, Jackson pinned Brian Cage after he took a Ricola Bomb from Castagnoli. Jackson disposed of Castagnoli with a hurricanrana and quickly pinned Cage.

This will be Fenix's second defense of the title belt, as he made his first defense against Jeff Jarrett on the September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite.
