Nick Khan: If Another Entity Signs And Benches People, That's Not Something We Would Do

WWE has signed a number of talents over the past year who were previously with AEW, including Ricky Saints (Ricky Starks in AEW), Penta, Rey Fenix, Ethan Page, and more.

WWE has hundreds of talents under contract, and like any promotion, only has so much TV time to give to performers.

Speaking to Bill Simmons on The Bill Simmons podcast, WWE President Nick Khan was asked about acquiring too much talent that not all of them can be utilized properly.

"That's something we won't do. We won't sign and bench people. We sign people who we want to use. If another entity signs and benches people now, that's not something we would do," Khan said following a discussion about AEW as a competitor.

Simmons noted, "That's a thing that happens."

Khan replied, "That's what I've been told from time to time. Not us."
