Nick Khan: The Other Promotion Has Talented Wrestlers. When They Are Contractually Available To Talk To, Assume A Number Will Come Over

AEW has become a viable number two option over the past five years, giving wrestlers another option outside of WWE to make a viable living.

Since its inception, AEW has signed a number of free agents who also had talks with WWE, and a number of WWE talents have left to join AEW. It's gone the other way as well with AEW talent moving to WWE.

Marvelous Results (4/17): Masha Slamovich, Aja Kong, Nyla Rose, Zara Zakher, More In Action

Speaking to Bill Simmons on the Bill Simmons podcast, WWE President Nick Khan was asked about AEW being a competitor.

"In terms of the other wrestling promotional company, they have a lot of talented wrestlers and we're happy about that. When, contractually, they are available to talk to and have conversations with, assume a number of them will come over. Nothing but respect to the father who finances it and owns the Jaguars and all those other things," said Khan.

Nick is referring to Shad Khan, who owns the Jaguars. His son, Tony Khan, runs AEW.

Elsewhere during the interview, Nick commented on the Vince McMahon documentary and the internal reactions. Fans can find his comments by clicking here.
