Nigel McGuinness is gone from WWE.
As first reported by PW Insider, Nigel McGuinness was released from WWE earlier this week. McGuinness, 46, had most recently worked for the NXT brand where he was a part of the Level Up commentary team. Before that, McGuinness had primarily worked in NXT UK alongside Andy Shepherd.
McGuinness first signed with the company back in late 2016 and would go on to make his WWE commentary debut in the United Kingdom Championship Tournament in January 2017 alongside Micheal Cole. Before his stint in NXT UK, McGuinness served as NXT's colour commentator briefly, while also doing work on 205 Live.

During his stint with the company, McGuinness won the ROH World Championship and the ROH Pure Championship on one occasion. Throughout his career, which ended in 2011, McGuinness also wrestled in TNA and Pro Wrestling NOAH.
