Nikki Cross is back.
In the main event of the October 24 episode of WWE Raw, Bayley faced Bianca Belair in a non-title match. The two foes threw everything they had at each other. At the end of the match, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, Bayley's Damage CTRL stablemates, interfered. The referee was about to eject them, but the official got inadvertently taken out as a mysterious individual dove on to Kai and SKY at ringside. The newcomer then entered the ring and helped Bayley pin Belair.
After the bell, Cross attacked Bayley, so she left both women lying.

Cross had been repackaged as Nikki A.S.H. on the June 21, 2021, episode of WWE Raw. She subsequently won the Raw Women's Championship after she won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. A.S.H. later captured the Women's Tag Team Championship with Rhea Ripley.
She has been struggling to find success as part of a tag team with Doudrop in recent months, and she has been teasing a character change. A.S.H. took off her mask out of clear frustration after one of her many losses.
