NJPW President has provided an update on NJPW STRONG.
On Sunday, NJPW President Takami Ohbari took to social media to say that NJPW STRONG will be rebuilt to focus on quality over quantity.
Ohbari noted that NJPW STRONG started during the pandemic in order to "continuously provide matches." Based on the changing internal and external environment, NJPW STRONG will change its focus. Ohbari didn't provide details on how the show will change.
NJPW STRONG has previously taped matches in bulk at US venues throughout the year with new episodes every Saturday on NJPW World.
#njpwSTRONG will be rebuilt to adapt external and internal environment. We started it when the strict lockdown was forced, so we focused obviously on "continuity".

Fortunately, fan and we are about to overcome the pandemic. We should now focus on "quality" rather than quantity.
Fightful will provide more details on the rebuilding of NJPW STRONG when more information is known.
