NJPW STRONG Brand Heading To Japan For First Time Ever 'Independence Day' PPV Events On 7/4 And 7/5

NJPW STRONG goes to Japan for the first time ever.

As announced during the NJPW Resurgence event on May 21, NJPW STRONG is going to Japan for the first time ever as they choose to celebrate Independence Day in Japan's Korakuen Hall.

Appropriately titled Independence Day, the pair of events will take place across July 4 and 5. Among those that will be attending the event, AEW's Eddie Kingston has been announced, as have Tom Lawor and Fred Rosser.

The New Japan STRONG has existed since 2020 and was meant to bring the action of New Japan Pro-Wrestling to America. Now, worlds will collide as STRONG heads to Japan.

During Resurgence in Long Beach’s Walter Pyramid on May 21, it was announced that the NJPW STRONG roster will be headed to Japan for a special pair of nights in Korakuen Hall on July 4 & 5. As the US celebrates Independence Day, Japan gets a slice of NJPW’s American brand this July, presented by LEC!

Fred Rosser and Eddie Kingston lead the charge on cards that will also see Hiroshi Tanahashi, Rocky Romero, Team Filthy and more in action.

Both events will be special PPV presentations on NJPW World, as fans get to see incredible talent from across the Pacific in the wild setting of Korakuen Hall for the first time!
