The Notorious Mimi discusses being a star of the new 'Monster Factory' Apple TV+ series.
On March 17, Apple TV+ released the entire first season of 'Monster Factory', a new docuseries based on the New Jersey wrestling school of the same name. The series stars coach Danny Cage, Gabby Ortiz, and Bobby Buffet. The series is currently receiving positive reviews from outlets like the Wall Street Journal and That Hashtag Show.
The Notorious Mimi is also one of the big stars of the show. Many wrestlers on the show look at Mimi in a influential role, as she is coming off a recent run with WWE.
In a new interview with WrestlingNews.co, Mimi talked about working on the show and how she's really proud of how everything in the show turned out.
“I mean, I was really excited to be able to do something like this because as he was saying, there’s really not that much Wrestling content like this that goes behind the scenes. But, something I did love watching growing up when I first started getting into wrestling was Breaking Grounds, which was like the only WWE show they had that actually focused on the training process. I think it’s almost like even more raw than that because it’s going into people who haven’t really made it, people who are just really starting and learning how to wrestle and understanding what they need to do to make it to the next level. It was definitely scary having to share a part of my life where I didn’t know what was gonna happen next at any given moment. But, I’m really proud of how everything turned out.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Danny Cage commented on the show and how he appreciates the portrayal of it. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
