Number One Contender Named For WWE Women's World Title

Rhea Ripley announced that she is the number one contender for the WWE Women's World Championship, which is currently held by Liv Morgan.

Ripley said that Adam Pearce made things official, but no date for the title bout was announced.

Morgan successfully defended her championship against IYO SKY at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. She was confronted by Ripley after the bout. Morgan defeated Ripley at WWE SummerSlam with held from Dominik Mysterio. Ripley defeated Morgan by DQ when Raquel Rodriguez interfered at WWE Bad Blood.
