NXT reveals injury report.
NXT released their latest injury report following Wednesday's episode, and the big news on the report is that Tommaso Ciampa has been cleared for action. Ciampa had neck surgery in March, which forced him to relinquish the NXT Title at the time, but returned on Wednesday's episode to confront current NXT Champion Adam Cole. As reported by Fightful on Sept. 16, Ciampa was listed on the internal injury report as returning on Sept. 11.
Elsewhere on the NXT injury report, Matt Riddle is listed as "not medically cleared" after Adam Cole knocked him in the head with his cast and finished him off with the Last Shot in their NXT Title match.
Meanwhile, Kyle O'Reilly is listed as "day-to-day" with an AC sprain that he suffered in his main event tag team match where he teamed with Bobby Fish to successfully defend the NXT Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits. Candice LeRae and Shane Throne are also listed as "day-to-day." LeRae has a neck contusion following her match against Shayna Baszler while Thorne has an AC sprain after losing to Johnny Gargano.
