WWE has a special episode of SmackDown lined up for the penultimate episode of 2023.
In a rare defense of the NXT North American Title on main roster programming, Dragon Lee will return to the SmackDown brand on December 22 to face Butch.
Plus, in the continuation of the WWE United States Championship top contender tournament, Kevin Owens will now face Carmelo Hayes in the tournament semifinals. Bobby Lashley will face Santos Escobar on the other side of the bracket.
Owens and Hayes had their first interaction Backstage on December 15 with Carmelo telling Kevin that he was not about to allow him to "little bro" him.
Rounding out the card will be a Holiday Havoc 8-Woman Tag Team Match as Damage CTRL's Bayley, Asuka, IYO SKY, and Kairi Sane do battle with Bianca Belair, Michin, Zelina Vega, and Shotzi.
