Four teams, three guaranteed eliminations, two sets of titles, and one winner.
With chaos being the order of the days surrounding both sets of NXT Tag Team Championships, everything came to a boiling point on August 30 when Pretty Deadly, Briggs & Jensen, Gallus, and The Creed Brothers all began brawling and an entire locker room of staff had to filter into the ring in order to regain order.
Following this brawl, it was officially announced that all four teams will meet in a unification match at NXT Worlds Collide. The winners of the Elimination Fatal 4-Way Match will be the Unified NXT Tag Team Champions. Of the teams in the match, only pretty deadly have had the distinction of holding both sets of titles. Now, at Worlds Collide, there will only be one team at the top of the NXT mountain.
