Randy Orton To Cody Rhodes: It Took Big Ass Balls To Leave WWE, But You Changed The Business

Cody Rhodes opened the March 28th episode of WWE SmackDown, but he didn't speak for long.

After Rhodes noted that he will see John Cena on Monday's WWE Raw, Randy Orton's music hit.

LPW 35: Into The Void Results (3/28): Effy, Zoe Sager, Michael Richard Blais In Action

Randy said he remembered Cody first breaking into WWE and how he wasn't happy and he knew he wouldn't grow in WWE, so he left. Randy said it took "big ass balls" to leave the company, but he changed the business.

He said Cody returned and did things like defeat Seth Rollins with a torn pec and finish his story by defeating Roman Reigns. Randy said that Cody is in charge of his legacy.

He said business is up and it is mostly, 99.9% because of Cody. "What I'm trying to say is I respect you, I love you, and I'm very proud of you."

Randy said that he's going to kick Kevin Owens' head off at WrestleMania and Cody is going to defeat John Cena, and then he was going to look Cody in his eyes and tell him that he is coming for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Drew McIntyre interrupted, saying he was sick of two nepo babies having a lovefest in the ring. McIntyre wondered what Orton has done to earn a title shot, saying Orton needs to get to the back of the line. McIntyre said Cody should have listened to him regarding Cena, but he didn't, and that he should be facing Cody, but he's not because of Damian Priest.

Drew said that Randy looks jacked on the outside, but on the inside, his back is hanging by a thread and if he's provoked, he'll break it. Cody cut off Drew with a kick and uppercut, but Drew escaped an RKO by Orton.
