NXT Takeover....Bridgeport?
That's right. NXT Takeover is celebrating their 25th event on June 1, and after much speculation, the host will be Bridgeport, Connecticut. Triple H made the announcement Monday evening on Twitter.

The show will officially be known as "NXT Takeover XXV," which has a little bit more of a ring to it than NXT Takeover: Bridgeport. Originally, a June NXT Takeover event was scheduled for San Jose, which isn't going to happen now.
WWE has been forced to make major calendar changes already. Their Saudi Arabia event was moved from the beginning of May until June, prompting the cancelation of WWE Backlash and the creation of WWE Stomping Grounds. In addition to the San Jose Takeover, a live event for the Smackdown brand that was scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for the fall.
Fightful will have full, live coverage of NXT Takeover XXV on Saturday, June 1, including a live post-show podcast.
