The NXT U.K. brand keeps growing.
The first episode of the NXT U.K. TV series is set to air this Wednesday at 3 PM EST on the WWE Network. On that premiere episode there will be a WWE United Kingdom Championship match featuring the champion Pete Dunne defending against "The Scottish Supernova" Noam Dar. When the announcement of the NXT U.K. brand was made, it was noted in the press release that there would be an NXT U.K. Women's and NXT U.K. Tag Team Championships introduced and thus far a NXT U.K. Women's Champion has already been crowned.
Yesterday there were tapings held at the 'Plymouth Pavilions' in England and day two of NXT U.K. TV tapings are being held today at the same venue. Before the action got started, NXT overseer Triple H and on-screen NXT U.K. GM Johnny Saint revealed in front of the live crowd the new and freshly carved NXT U.K. Tag Team Title belts.
There was no mentioning of a tournament or champions to be crowned soon but only the unveiling of the titles.
