The viewership numbers are in for NXT on 12/21.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, NXT drew 591,000 viewers on Tuesday, December 21. This number is up from last Tuesday's number of 561,000 viewers.
Tuesday's episode scored a 0.11 rating (148,000 viewers) in the 18 to 49 demographic, which is down from the 0.13 rating the show posted last Tuesday. The median age of viewership was 64.
NXT ranked #46 among cable originals for the day in P18-49.

The show faced unusual competition as Fox aired an NFL game in primetime, which did a 3.78 P18-49 rating and was watched by 14.9 million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily.
I point out median age because NXT's is remarkably high compared to other weekly wrestling programs, and has been trending older. But remember linear TV skews old in general.

On most days, primetime viewers are only 20-25% in the P18-49 demo, so similar to what NXT does. pic.twitter.com/jBKf7MMojV
