In addition, NXT General Manager William Regal announced that Mia Yim, Tegan Nox, Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai will all compete in a No. 1 contenders match for the NXT Women's Championship on July 1.
The winner of the match will get a future shot at Io Shirai's NXT Women's Championship at a later date. Shirai has held the title since NXT TakeOver: In Your House when she defeated both Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match.
Also announced for next week's episode of NXT is Robert Stone's NXT in-ring debut when he teams up with Aliyah to face Ripley. For weeks, Stone has been trying to recruit Ripley to the Robert Stone brand, to no avail. Stone also tried to convince Regal that if he and Aliyah win the match, then Ripley has to join the Robert Stone Brand.

Lastly, Dexter Lumis and Roderick Strong will face off in a rematch, this time in a strap match. Lumis and Strong faced each other earlier in the show, but Strong was constantly running away from Lumis and eventually lost the match by count-out.
