Oba Femi remains dominant.
Oba Femi retained the NXT North American Title at NXT Heatwave, defeating Wes Lee in the opening contest.
The finish saw Femi hit the Fall from Grace powerbomb on Lee for the victory.
In the bout, Lee managed to hit the Cardiac Kick, but Femi kicked out. Lee went up top for a frog splash, but Femi ate it, grabbed Lee by the throat, and hit him with a chokeslam. Femi also countered the Cardiac Kick by catching Lee and then tossing him high in the air and down.

As per the stipulation of the match, Lee can no longer challenge for the NXT North American Title while Femi is the champion.
This marked the seventh title defense for Femi. He won the title on the January 9th episode of NXT when he cashed in his Breakout Tournament Trophy and defeated Dragon Lee.
