Odyssey Jones makes his Raw debut.
On the August 5 edition of WWE Raw, Kofi Kingston returned from injury and teamed with fellow New Day member Xavier Woods in a heated tag match against the Authors Of Pain. Throughout the match, Karrion Kross attempted to get involved, but his antics were suddenly brought to a hault when Odyssey Jones came down to the ring and took him out.
This allowed Woods to score the win for the New Day, as he trapped Rezar in a leg trap pin to score the three count.

After the bout, Jones hit the ring and saved Woods from being attacked by Akam and Rezar. After taking out men, Jones took out Kross again with a black hole slam, much to the approval of the crowd.

In a backstage segment after the match, Kingston stated that he met Jones while rehabbing his injury at the WWE PC. During this segment, Woods seemed uneasy about his involvement in the New Day's business.

Jones was originally drafted to Raw during the 2023 WWE Draft. Jones was once again selected by the brand in the 2024 WWE Draft.
The New Day's victory on Raw marked Kofi Kingston's return to TV, as it was his first televised bout since the June 24 edition of the show. Kingston wrestled in four matches during the company's Japan tour in late July.
