Orange Cassidy is the most successful champion in the history of All Elite Wrestling.
Cassidy's reign with the AEW International Championship, which began in October 2022, is often praised by fans as one of the highlights of the promotion's weekly programming.
On the July 26, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite, Cassidy successfully defended the International Championship for the 27th consecutive time, defeating AR Fox in singles competition. As first pointed out by DrainBamager on Twitter, this is a historic feat for Cassidy, as he now holds the AEW record for the most championship defenses in a single reign.
With 27 successful International title defenses in 289 days, Orange Cassidy as of this week has become the most successful champion in AEW history. That's an average of 10.7 days per defense.
