Ortiz is gearing up for a return.
The former Proud-N-Powerful member has been out of action for nearly the whole year, as he tore his pectoral muscle while teaming with Eddie Kingston against Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli on the January 20 edition of AEW Collision.
On the latest edition of Isiah Kassidy's vlog, Ortiz appeared in a small segment and gave the fans a brief update on his return to the ring. This portion of the vlog was filmed in Milwaukee, the host city for the September 4 edition of AEW Dynamite.
"I'm not quite back yet, but I'm right there. I'm stronger, faster, but less flexible."
Fightful will continue to update fans as more updates are provided on Ortiz and his journey back to the squared circle.
