On the July 5 episode of AEW Dynamite, the teams for the upcoming Blood & Guts were revealed.
Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, Konosuke Takeshita, & a mystery partner will be representing the Blackpool Combat Club side of things, while Kenny Omega, 'Hangman' Adam Page, the Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson), and a mystery partner will represent The Elite's team.
It was also noted that Bryan Danielson won't be on the Blackpool Combat Club's team due to injury, and Eddie Kingston will be unable to join The Elite's team due to the fact that he'll be in the G1 Climax for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The third ever Blood & Guts match will take place on the July 19 episode of AEW Dynamite, which will emanate from the TD Garden in Boston.

The 2022 edition of the Blood & Guts match took place in Detroit, Michigan and pitted the Jericho Appreciation Society against the Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Santana, & Ortiz.
