Pat McAfee feels as though Miro has dubbed him a celebrity.
Pat McAfee had a great 2020 inside of the professional wrestling ring. His two matches for NXT earned him the NXT Rookie of the Year Award during the promotion’s end of the year award ceremony.
Recently, McAfee replied to Shaquille O'Neal claiming that he would have the best celebrity match in wrestling history, claiming that he wouldn't because McAfee already has set the bar too high. Miro, the former Rusev in WWE, joked that the operative word was “celebrity.”

This led to McAfee addressing Miro on his show.
“Miro, you’re right. You considering me a wrestler is one of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received in my life. I'll always look back on the time that we spent in the RV together as one of the most electrifying moments in my life. Now that you’re coming to my defense here, not only [did Pat win] ‘Rookie of the Year’ but now, fellow wrestlers that I have a lot of respect for saying that ‘I am not a celebrity, I am a wrestler.’ That means a lot. So thank you, Miro.”
