Paul Heyman believes that wrestling is no longer a boutique industry.

The wrestling industry as a whole has seemingly been rising in popularity since the COVID-19 pandemic, with most promotions returning to the live event business in 2021.

As a matter of fact, Paul Heyman believes that wrestling was a boutique and niche industry before the pandemic. With Netflix at their side, Heyman believes that the business is now certified main street.

“Before COVID, it was a boutique industry, it was niche, it was a guilty pleasure, and then it became a multibillion-dollar guilty pleasure and a multibillion-dollar boutique industry, and now, with the distribution on Netflix, it’s no longer boutique, now it’s certified Main Street." Heyman said while speaking to The Hollywood Reporter for a new interview.

Triple H went on to chime in on the situation, reminding fans of the "Netflix and chill" term.

“There’s no saying among kids, ‘ABC and chill.’ ‘Netflix and chill’ is a thing. It’s because that’s where they are, and it’s great for us to be in that environment with these young folks and continue to grow the business in that direction."

Elsewhere in the interview, Triple H revealed that Paul Heyman is coaching Bron Breakker backstage. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
