Paul Heyman: I Think The WWE Champion Will Fall To The Feet Of Roman Reigns In Damn Near Record Time

According to Paul Heyman, only one man poses a threat to Roman Reigns.

On October 21, WWE presented Crown Jewel, which featured a main event match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. After a referee bump, interference from the Usos, and a shot to Brock's head with the title belt, Roman Reigns retained his spot at the Head of the Table.

Caught in the middle of both men during the build to their match has been Paul Heyman. Speaking with La Previa de WWE, Heyman says he understands why everyone has doubted his loyalty to Roman, commending Lesnar for his brilliant gameplan.

"I don't know if I would say that I'm tired of all the doubts. I understand why those doubts are in play and it's because of the brilliant strategy by Brock Lesnar," Heyman said. "I would be disappointed if Brock Lesnar didn't have a brilliant strategy. The man spent 20 years around me, learning from me, watching me do my thing as his Advocate, so one would think that Brock Lesnar would learn from me, and he certainly has. He's played his cards to perfection. He has sown the seeds of doubt in The Bloodline and that has given Lesnar a distinct advantage going into Crown Jewel where he challenges Roman Reigns for the Universal Heavyweight Championship. So, my compliments to Brock Lesnar for having the wisdom to learn from the wise man."

Heyman continued on, admitting that Lesnar poses the greatest threat to Roman Reigns' Championship reign. He said the following:

"Of course. Brock Lesnar is Brock Lesnar. The only man in history to hold the NCAA Division One Heavyweight Championship, the UFC Heavyweight Championship, and every top-tier championship in WWE. There is no one like Brock Lesnar. He poses the greatest physical and gamesmanship threat to the Universal Heavyweight Championship reign of The Tribal Chief, The Head of the Table Roman Reigns, no doubt about it."

The next big event on WWE's schedule is Survivor Series, which is set for November 21, 2021. At the event, Reigns will face Big E in a Champion vs Champion match (assuming neither is dethroned in the next month). Heyman shared that he believes the WWE Champion will fall to Roman in record time.

"I don't really think it matters who the WWE Champion is as long as it's not Brock Lesnar," Heyman said. "I think the WWE Champion will fall to the feet of Roman Reigns in damn near record time."

At Survivor Series 2020, Roman faced Drew McIntyre but needed assistance from Jey Uso to put the Scottish Warrior away.
