Paul Heyman says what you see is what you get with Roman Reigns.
In the leadup to WWE Payback 2020, it was revealed that Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman had struck up an alliance. Now, heading into WrestleMania 40, their alliance continues to be stronger than ever as Reigns prepares to defend his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40 against Cody Rhodes.
In a recent interview with WrestleRant, Heyman was asked what would surprise fans the most about Roman Reigns. Paul noted that what you see of Roman on WWE television is 'exactly what you get'.
"That what you see on WWE television is exactly what you get. That SmackDown is the greatest reality show in the history of television. Because on the Friday nights that feature Roman Reigns, you get to see an authentic portrayal of the, the top star in the entire industry. That he presents to you the responsibility and the obligation and the accountability of being the top star. He has no problems articulating the burden of being the top star, not just in WWE, but in the entire industry as well and that's something that no one else has ever accurately portrayed, certainly on the cinematic level that Roman Reigns has portrayed it before in the history of sports entertainment."
Heyman is currently scheduled to be inducted into the 2024 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame prior to WrestleMania 40. As of this writing, it has not been confirmed who will induct Heyman.
