Paying Homage To DX By Telling The Brooklyn Nets To 'Suck It' Cost Joel Embiid $25,000

Joel Embiid was feeling things on January 25 against the Brooklyn Nets, scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

In the third quarter of the game, Embiid finished through contact to score, drawing an and-one on the play. After the basket, Embiid paid tribute to D-Generation X by telling the Nets to "suck it."

The NBA fined Embiid $25,000 for the gesture.

Kevin Durant, who plays for the Nets but missed the game due to injury, was not a fan of the gesture. Embiid also told him to suck it.

Embiid has done the "suck it" taunt to opponents in the past and has previously called Triple H his favorite wrestle

Triple H was part of the Sixers playoff festivities in 2021.

DX reunited in Philadelphia as part of WWE Raw XXX, adding Kurt Angle to the group for the night.
