Penta comments on his brother Rey Fenix joining WWE and the hope that they will soon be reunited as the Lucha Bros in tag team action once again.
Both Penta and Rey Fenix are now in WWE, but they joined at separate times, and as such, they joined on separate brands and not as a tag team. Both made their WrestleMania debuts at WrestleMania 41. Penta challenged for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal 4-Way. Fenix, on the other hand, stepped up to bat for an injured Rey Mysterio and wrestled El Grande Americano.
Before those matches took place, Penta was interviewed by Denise Salcedo on the WWE Hall of Fame red carpet. During the interview, he spoke about his pride in his younger brother's WWE debut.
"So proud of my brother, because that's my little brother, and finally, after almost one year [when] my brother didn't have any matches, I saw my brother on TV at my house when he debuted. It's like me and my daughter [are so] proud of my brother. I feel very happy for my brother and for me, too, because finally, the Lucha Brothers are together here, the best tag team in the universe, together, in the best company in the universe, too."
Asked if he thinks they will reunite as a team, Penta responded, "I hope very soon."
