Pentagon Jr Feels A Responsibility Being Impact Wrestling World Champion

Pentagon Jr says his opponents know he's dangerous.

At Impact Wrestling Redemption, Pentagon Jr won the Impact Wrestling World Championship by defeating Austin Aries and Fenix in a triple threat match. He has defended his championship on television and has been scheduled to face Aries again at the Under Pressure event. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Pentagon said winning the Championship was important.

“It is a big responsibility to carry the Impact title. The people who wore that belt are some of the most important people in the world of wrestling. Carrying the company is my responsibility while I am champion,” said Pentagon. "I have grown a great deal in my career as a wrestler and fighter, and I am grateful for the opportunities. I am thankful for the chance at Impact, and the opportunity to be champion means a lot to my career. Whoever I wrestle, they will know I am the best and most dangerous wrestler in the world,” later added.
