Avalon wrote on Threads, "I had shoulder surgery last Tuesday & this sling I’m wearing is driving me LOCO."
Avalon last wrestled in December 2024. He has appeared on ROH on HonorClub in October 2024, teaming with Preston Vance.
Avalon was part of the first wave of AEW signings in 2019.
It is unknown how long Avalon will be out of the ring.
