NXT UK superstar Piper Niven has suffered Bell's Palsy.
She made the announcement Friday on social media. Niven posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed with the caption "Who’s got two thumbs, a funny face and has Bell’s Palsy?" She posted follow up messages, showing a sense of humor about the facial paralysis.

Niven is set to challenge Kay Lee Ray for the NXT UK Women's Championship in a triple threat match also featuring Toni Storm at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II.
