Powerhouse Hobbs talks tossing Darby Allin.
AEW Dynamite Homecoming was headlined by Powerhouse Hobbs teaming with Konosuke Takeshita to face Sting & Darby Allin in a tornado tag team match. One spot in the bout saw Hobbs & Takeshita swing Allin and then toss him spinning across the ring. Allin's head ended up hitting the ropes.
Speaking to Adrian Hernandez of the Sporting Tribune, Hobbs was asked about the spot.
"We were trying to go out and win the match. We were going out to make a statement. I guarantee you those two know, the next time you get in the ring with us, you're going to hurt. Unfortunately, it didn't come out the way we wanted to, but they're going to remember being in the ring with Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs," he said.
