Powerhouse Hobbs wants to be the face of All Elite Wrestling.
Powerhouse Hobbs was able to land a permanent spot in AEW by impressive performances during his matches on AEW Dark during the global pandemic. Now, he is one of the top homegrown AEW wrestlers and is once again talking about reaching the promotion's pinnacle.
Appearing on the Under The Ring Podcast, Hobbs spoke about wanting to become the first black world champion in the promotion, and he wants the opportunity to take the promotion to new heights by being the top star.
"My goal is to be the first African American World Champion here. My goal is to have a lot of goals. Another goal is to take this company to a new level to put this company on my back, and I got a big enough back, you know, I could put the whole company on here. So that's definitely my goal."
