Swerve Strickland lost the AEW World Title to Bryan Danielson at AEW All In, and has hit a rough patch in the ring, at least on pay-per-view, ever since.
He lost to Hangman Page at AEW All Out, and failed to get back on track at AEW Full Gear, losing to Bobby Lashley.
Despite his recent PPV track record, the goal remains the same for Swerve according to his manager Prince Nana.
"The plan is to take Swerve back to the top. There are no other plans. We're looking at other championship belts, but that's a step down. Right now, we're focusing on making sure Swerve continues to stay healthy. He's been working out on a regular basis, eating the right things, going to the chiropractor, getting the rest that he needs. We're in a situation that we can pick and choose who we want to wrestle and who we feel deserves to be in the ring with Swerve. It's not going to be an easy night," Nana said during a Virtual Signing with K&S WrestleFest.
Swerve is currently entangled with Ricochet, who stabbed Swerve with a pair of scissors on AEW Dynamite.
