QT Marshall Praises The Factory; Calls NXT 'Stupid' For Letting Nick Comoroto Go

QT Marshall is set for the biggest match of his career on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite when he faces Cody Rhodes.

The two former friends squared off in an exhibition match on the March 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, but things ended badly as Marshall turned on Cody and formed The Factory with Anthony Ogogo, Nick Comoroto, and Aaron Solow.

Dustin Rhodes: I'd Love For Tony Khan To Create A Program Similar To WWE ID

Appearing on The Wrestling Perspective podcast, Marshall discussed The Factory and his bout with Cody.

"I read all the comments, 'We're going to sleep, this is a sleeper match.' Bullshit. Billy (Gunn) vs. me had the highest demo rating. The storyline is great. Wrestling Cody will be a little nerve-racking because if I don't win all this stuff could be for nothing, but at the end of the day, I'm already winning. I've already won because the point has come across that QT is someone you don't want to mess with. The Factory is highlighting three younger talents that all have tremendous potential. Anthony Ogogo is an Olympic boxer who I have trained since day one. I wasn't there when Kurt Angle trained, but I was there when Matt Riddle trained and [Ogogo] gives me those vibes. He's a natural and loves wrestling. (Nick) Comoroto is another one. He was in NXT and they let him go because they're stupid and didn't know what they had because they never do. Their loss is our gain. Aaron Solow is another guy who has been traveling all over the world for the past ten years. I talked to them, they were willing to do it, we made it happen," he said. "I'm toying with the idea of leaving The Factory backstage because I want to show I can do this on my own and can hang with Cody Rhodes. I don't want there to be any doubt after this match is over."

The Factory (Aaron Solow, Nick Comoroto & QT Marshall) defeated The Nightmare Family (Billy Gunn, Dustin Rhodes & Lee Johnson) on the April 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, leading to the return of Cody and setting up Wednesday's bout.

Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
