R-Truth met up with an old friend on WWE SmackDown.
Damian Priest moved to WWE SmackDown as part of the transfer window, and in doing so, he left the Judgment Day in the rearview mirror.
Priest made it clear that he was looking to move forward on the January 31st episode of WWE SmackDown, as he declared for the Men's Royal Rumble match. Later in the show, Priest bumped into WWE Raw superstar R-Truth backstage. Truth was a bit confused, as he said that he was excited that Priest was back on Raw. Priest told Truth that they were on SmackDown. Truth then said that Priest couldn't keep climbing in and out of the window, and he had to pick a show.
Truth also said that he talked to Adam Pearce, but he had a British accent now. Priest laughed and told Truth not to change. Truth then pitched forming a team with Priest and LA Knight, who came to the former world champion's aid when Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga outnumbered him.

Truth previously had a run alongside Priest, as he thought he was a member of The Judgment Day. He later feuded with the group.
