R-Truth is back.
On the November 1, 2022, episode of NXT, R-Truth landed awkwardly on a dive during a match against Grayson Waller. He was helped out of the arena, and Truth later confirmed that he underwent surgery due to a torn quad. In August, R-Truth posted a picture of himself at the WWE Performance Center and said he was working his way back to the ring.
R-Truth made his return at WWE Survivor Series on November 25. During a backstage segment, Otis argued with Alpha Academy (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) over whether the chips they were eating were chips or crisps. R-Truth popped up and settled the debate by saying they were having Ruffles, and they were good. He then said they should all get along, and he encouraged Akira Tozawa to do the Ruffle Shuffle and keep it PG.
