Here's what's on tap for the March 17, 2023 edition of AEW Rampage.
First, Powerhouse Hobbs will defend the TNT Championship for the first time as he puts up the title against Rey Fenix in a Open Challenge. This will be Fenix's first singles match in AEW since the November 1, 2022 episode of AEW Dark.

Also, Taya Valkyrie will make her in-ring debut for AEW on Friday's Rampage. Valkyrie debuted on the Wednesday's Dynamite in a confrontation with Jade Cargill.
Furthermore, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker will look to prove a point to The Acclaimed as they will face The Bollywood Boyz (Gurv & Harv Sihra).
