Randy Orton will wrestle in an NXT ring on October 8, 2024.
At the start of the September 17 episode of WWE NXT, WWE NXT GM Ava announced that Randy Orton would compete in a WWE NXT ring on the October 8 episode, which will be broadcast from St. Louis, Missouri, Randy Orton's hometown.
The event was recently relocated to The Factory at The District in Chesterfield, Missouri. The show will be the second episode of NXT's run on the CW.

Je'Von Evans asked Ava for a match on the show later in the night, and Randy responded on Twitter, saying that he would be Evans' opponent.
This would be a first-time-ever bout and Evans' biggest match yet.

Also, going down on October 8, Sexyy Red will return to WWE NXT. Plus, the NXT Tag Team Championships will be on the line when A-Town Down Under's Austin Theory & Grayson Waller face the "Super Sonic Duo" of FrAxiom, Nathan Frazer, and Axiom.
