Randy Orton defeated Je'Von Evans on the October 8th episode of NXT.
Orton won the match with an RKO, but didn't quite catch him with one out of nowhere.
Orton tried to catch Evans with the RKO as Evans went for his twisting moonsault, but just missed with it. Orton ended up picking Evans up and hitting a regular RKO for the victory.

After the bout, Orton raised Evans' hand.
This was Orton's first NXT match since 2013 and only his second NXT match ever.
